The Most Destructive Pollution

Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

The most destructive pollution is sin and it comes out of the hearts of men. It doesn*t just destroy the world, it destroys their souls.

Matthew 15:18-19: But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. 19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Many men are overly concerned that we are destroying our world and ourselves by creating pollution of all sorts. But they are not concerned with the pollution that destroys their souls. By our own sin, we directly destroy ourselves but none of us are destroyed spiritually by the sins others. The sins of others might be the means of our physical destruction but the cause of our spiritual destruction is our own sin.

Men need to receive Jesus because Jesus presence in their hearts will cause their hearts to produce good things instead of the evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: When a man receives Jesus he stops polluting his own soul and there is then a chance he will stop polluting the world too.

Luke 6:45: A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

The good man is the man with Jesus in his heart and in charge of it. The evil man is the man without Jesus in his heart. His heart and everything that comes out of it continue to be evil.

Ephesians 3:17: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
